The Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center will be hosting a free family event on Saturday, May 16 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Families can "Fly in to Discover Birds" at the visitor center, located a few blocks north of the Town Square at 532 N. Cache Street. The event is one in a series of "Get Outdoors, It's Yours" programs that encourage people to spend time outside enjoying public lands.
Participants can use "eagle eyes" to find hidden birds, go on a guided bird walk (binoculars provided), and create an arts and craft project. Winged Migration will be shown throughout the day in the visitor center theatre, showcasing the seasonal journeys routinely made by birds.
